Ireland through my eyes is a short story of my expierances travelling all around Ireland. Many people know that Ireland is called the emerald isle because of its green land. The people are among the most friendly in all the world.

Born in Ireland in the 1970's and growing up on the streets of Belfast my childhood was a wash with the terrior and violance that was on offer living on the falls road in Belfast. Thankfully now as i am older and hopefully wiser things have changed for me, but more important the north of Ireland has also changed. Around the streets of Northern Ireland has a new and refreshing change. Gone are the riots etc and emerging from what was once ashes is great citys new buildings and a new age look. We say Ireland is buzzing and now in 2011 its the place to be. Being in the cities of Ireland is the hub, but if you travel around all of the coast line of Ireland you will instantly fall for its beaches, rock formations and the quiet that is felt from the country side. Eating, drinking and staying in one of Irelands many Bed and Breakfasts is a life time memory. For anyone who choses to visit ireland they can make it as cheap as they want it to be. There is alot of accommadation on offer from cheap hotels to the best little guest houses, also one of my favorite things is to hire a car the longer the better. I would recommend driving around the coastline and getting lost, yes lost this way you will see towns and villages that are not on the beaten track. All of the little town's have alot to offer like if you land in a small village with only one pub and a small shop/petrol station you know the ones with only one petrol pump. Some of my best memories of Ireland have came from doing this kind of touring. As we all know the people of Ireland are always happy no matter what life throws at them and any and all strangers will be greeted with a smile and a tall tail. If your lucky enough to be in any small pub any night of the week you could witness the great music and banter, trust me this is truly the best Ireland has to offer. There is no fancy speakers or sound systems just the most friendliest of people and some instruments, and you know that you are in for a night to remember. The beauty of Ireland is what you make of it, but one thing is for sure you will always come back.

Irelands4u.com is a bed and breakfast company based in Cork, Southern Ireland.. We take pride in promoting Ireland and its many charms. Ireland is known for its green beauty and traditions. Each city, town and village has its own story to tell, and there is always an obliging man, woman or child to tell the tale..

Living and growing up in Ireland was Beautiful. Many things have changed since the 80's in this country, many good but many bad also. The pub tradition is still going strong here, and has always been. As a person who has travelled iv noticed everywhere there is an Irish pub... I have worked in many of these Irish pubs and have loved every minute. Its funny as even when Irish people travel to escape this wonderful little country, we always end up in an Irish bar... Drinking Guinness and singing our traditional songs of pride..
West Cork is a beautiful part of Ireland, yes i may be naive as its where i live but living on the coast is rather beautiful.. It is true when people say "Home is where the heart is" but to really appreciate the little things, travelling is vital. Bed and Breakfasts are fantastic for escaping for a few days, or travelling around Ireland from county to county. Waking up to a home cooked fry and a charming story about the local area is great.. One of my favourite places is Dingle in County Kerry. It hasnt lost the old irish landscapes and even when eating out a traditional irish stew. No better way to warm up after a walk along its old pier.
Ireland is unfortunately not blessed with good weather, Its known for rain and cold weather even in our 'summers'.. But i believe if it didnt rain so much this country wouldnt be as beautiful and green as it is, 40 shades of green as the song goes. Many tourists are shocked in a good way at how green and natural it is here, the fresh air in the country side is devine.
I believe the most popular places in ireland to visit are obviously the capital of Ireland which is Dublin but besides the obvious places like Newgrange,Killarney and Galway there are so many places which are not very well known. For example the little towns and villages around west Cork like Glengariff and many more.. The coastal towns are beautiful. There are so many places in Northern Ireland, discovering can be fun and staying in the many Bed and Breakfasts to offer can be the perfect Staycation. Its very enjoyable to visit our own country as many people are doing now to save money on foreign holidays and its very convenient. Our country is to be enjoyed and its good to take pride in it..
